Protecting your business from threats you shouldn't have to think about.
A layered approach to keeping your business safe
Cyber threats don't just target big corporations anymore — small and mid-size businesses are hit every day, often because they're seen as easier targets. We put real protection in place for your computers, email, and network: antivirus software, firewall management, security patches, and the kind of day-to-day vigilance that keeps small gaps from turning into big problems.
We also help you stay ahead of the basics that get overlooked — making sure software stays updated, security subscriptions don't lapse, and your team knows what a suspicious email looks like before they click on it. Most security incidents start with something small and preventable, and that's exactly where we focus.
Here's what that actually looks like, day to day and behind the scenes.
Day-to-day protection
The layers working in the background every day, whether or not anything ever goes wrong.
Firewalls that stay current
A firewall that was configured correctly five years ago isn't necessarily protecting you today. Threats change constantly, and firewall software needs active, current subscriptions to keep recognizing them. We make sure those subscriptions stay active and up to date — not set once and forgotten — so your firewall keeps up with new threats, not just the ones that existed when it was installed.
Stopping phishing before it lands
Most break-ins don't start with someone hacking through a firewall — they start with an employee clicking a link in an email that looked legitimate. We put email filtering in place that catches phishing attempts, fake invoices, and malicious attachments before they ever reach an inbox, so the decision of what to click isn't the last line of defense.
Two-factor authentication, top to bottom
A password alone isn't enough anymore, even a strong one. Where it makes sense, we set up two-factor authentication on the accounts and systems that matter most — email, remote access, financial platforms — anything a stolen password shouldn't be able to unlock on its own. We hold our own access to the same standard: when our technicians connect to your systems, that access requires two-factor authentication too, not just your employees'.

Testing it, and training for it
Protection isn't something you set up once. We keep checking that it's actually working, and make sure your team is part of the defense, not a gap in it.
Vulnerability scans & penetration testing
Knowing your systems are secure shouldn't be a guess. We bring in outside security specialists to run vulnerability scans and penetration tests — from outside your network, the way an attacker would try to get in, and from inside, the way a compromised device or account could move around once it's already there. We oversee the entire process and translate the results into plain language: what was found, what it means, and what we're doing about it. You get real independent testing, without having to manage another vendor yourself.
Employee security training
No piece of software fully replaces a team that knows what to look for. We coordinate outsourced security awareness training for your employees — real examples of phishing emails, suspicious links, and social engineering attempts — so your team recognizes the warning signs before they become a problem. We manage the training program on your behalf, so it's one more thing that just happens, rather than one more thing you have to track.
If something does happen anyway
Even with all of this in place, nothing is 100% guaranteed — and we're not going to pretend otherwise. If something does happen, you're not on your own. We're available to respond, contain the issue, and get your business back to normal as quickly as possible, with a clear explanation of what happened and what we did about it.
